About the Role

Gradient Health builds and operates one of the world's largest medical imaging and health-data marketplaces, enabling the next generation of medical AI. We're looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to help scale the business. In this role, you will support internal customers within Gradient, and be the primary interface with external partners such as hospital systems.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and Linux systems
• Cloud experience (ideally with Google Cloud)
• Patient, methodical and detail oriented
• Comfortable working with external IT teams
• Strong communication skills
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Degree in CS - Information Systems, or sufficient relevant professional experience

Key Responsibilities

• Integrating with hospital systems (PACS, RIS, EHR) using standard protocols and working with hospital IT teams to establish secure connectivity (on-premise and in the cloud)
• Diagnosing and resolving networking and connectivity issues
• Configuring and optimizing our own Google cloud environment
• Owning our technical operations from kickoff → go-live → steady state
• Coordinating cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders

Bonus Experience

• Worked in a hospital IT environment
• Working with medical data formats - namely DICOM and EHR data
• Working with healthcare compliance frameworks (namely HIPAA)
